Malia3/19/2021We stayed here to visit Mesa Verde and it was perfect! Super spacious, way close to the park, spotless, beautiful countryside views, and had everything we needed. Definitely would recommend! 
Parker9/04/2021We had a multi generational family stay here and it was great. Kids loved the foosball, games, tire swing and all the open space to run. The place was comfortable and plenty of room. 10/10 would stay here again. Highly recommend.

Taylor8/13/2023This place is in a great location! Currently seeing some renovations, but quite the ample space and great for large groups. There are some other tenants on property and no washer/dryer. However, the big open space on the main floor is very enjoyable and a great view out the front!

Raven6/27/2020Terrific value! The suite was roomy, comfortable, and very clean. JanElle and Todd were very helpful and accommodating and even made a delicious hot breakfast on the morning of our departure. We highly recommend it!

Peter3/20/2022Great ranch location outside of Cortez. We stayed in the wranglers roost room(s) which had two private and one semi-private bedrooms. Clean and comfortable space. Shared kitchen space, which worked for us, but no other guests really used it that week.

Mike8/17/2021We were a large group of 14. When we arrive at Mountain View Lodge everything was ready the lights were even on. The lodge is so curly decorated. We were four families and had enough rooms for each family. The kids were able to run around in the large yard, play games in the games room. When asked what they wanted to do they replied play. There was even a tree swing which the kids loved. Our stay their was relaxing and very peaceful. Mountain View Lodge is a hidden gem. The scenery was amazing! JoaElle was a wonderful host. This is a place I would love to return to. Thank you for a great vacation! 
Kathy6/09/2023A fantastic setting for a quiet stay in the mountains. So many configurations within the house made it very easy for our extended family to feel comfortable and have their own privacy. We will definitely be staying here again and again and again

Elaine9/04/2020 - We had a fantastic stay! We were comfortably able to accommodate our group staying at the home and our family that visited during the day that lives locally. The home is very spacious and a perfect location for large families or multiple families traveling together. We cooked our full Thanksgiving meal and had plenty of cooking utensils to use in the kitchen. The game room and tire swing were hits with the kids. Very friendly and responsive hosts, would definitely recommend!
Briana11/24/2023We had an wonderful trip. The house is very nice and spacious, lots of room to move around. The Owners are amazing and gave some great local food recommendations. We were taking a snowboarding trip in Colorado and the this house was an amazing place to relax at after coming back from the mountain. Maël11/08/2022Talk about some amazing hospitality! This was such a cute setup on a little farm with an awesome views! Jana makes the most delicious homemade muffins and it was so nice to wake up to a homemade breakfast. We felt so cozy here. My son also forgot his stuffed animal there and Jana was kind enough to offer mailing it to us. We will definitely be back next time we are in town! 
Paige7/16/2020Perfect for our one-night stay near Mesa Verde NP. Very quiet, private, and peaceful location near restaurants and stores. Super clean and very spacious with two separate bedrooms connected to a sitting area and private bathroom. Lots of amenities and the access to a full kitchen on the first floor was a huge plus - we used this stop to re-supply for the next leg of our cross country road trip. Dolores is a cool town with lots of interesting things to do and Cortez has all the stores and amenities travelers need. Host checked on us soon after arrival to see if we had any questions or needed anything - great stay!

Theresa3/24/2022Great place and great location! This was a good fit for our family and I highly recommend it. Be aware that you may get some extra noise from private tenants down below your sleeping area. We would definitely come back again!

Aaron7/18/2020We enjoyed the Wrangler's Roost! Very comfortable beds, very roomy private and shared areas, clean and well stocked, very clear instructions. So many delightful ways to spend time at Mountain View Lodge and in the Cortez/Durango area. We would definitely recommend this spot! Cathy9/17/2022Great casual place for the family. Enjoyed the large common area especially the porch with its view of the mountains. My daughter loved the ping pong and foos ball tables in the game room. JanElle was very friendly and helpful and breakfast was yummy. Beth7/27/2021The hosts are very kind and friendly, making you feel at home during the stay. The common area downstairs is a nice touch as it gives the opportunity to interact with other guests while you make coffee (should you so choose). The view is incredible with a patio to sit on while you look over the valley.
