Lee11/21/2020The property is immaculate, spacious, well appointed and equipped. The location was bucolic, with views of the sleeping Ute. The host is extremely responsive and informative. I believe that this stay is perhaps the most exceptional of any I have had in an AirBnB.

Kevin12/23/2022The Wrangler's Roost was a great fit for our family of 6 while we were visiting the area! The kids loved the game room and being able to get outside. The location worked well for us as we visited Mesa Verde and Hovenweep.

Roshan9/23/2023Wranglers Roost, past the kitchen and living area and upstairs to Wranglers Roost. Got those place because it had seperate bedrooms for a friend and I. There's another tiny bed that's tucked away at the corner of the main living space. Bedrooms were very nice and comfortable. Bathroom was great and full of towels. One of the bedroom has a small living area with tv and mini fridge. The house sits on the outer skirts of town so drive into city is about 10 mins. 
Thai5/06/2021We enjoyed the Wrangler's Roost! Very comfortable beds, very roomy private and shared areas, clean and well stocked, very clear instructions. So many delightful ways to spend time at Mountain View Lodge and in the Cortez/Durango area. We would definitely recommend this spot! 
Cathy9/17/2022This was a great place for us to meet up with friends. The common areas comfortably accommodated several guests. Our suite worked well for us too. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the front porch with mountain views. We hope to stay again.

My kids loved the game room, huge yard, and playground set! We also loved the wonderful breakfast, it was homemade and amazing! I highly recommended Janelle's Airbnb! Cheryl6/25/2020What a great place! There were 15 of us and we weren’t a bit crowded. It was so spacious! It was also very well stocked and had everything we needed. Our family really enjoyed the corn hole, tire swing, and ping pong. We especially loved all the deer. Beds were comfy and towels were plentiful. I would highly recommend JanElle’s place!

Ann9/24/2020The unit was the perfect size and layout for our family of five. The location is mere minutes from the entrance to Canyon of the Ancients National Monument and a very short drive to Mesa Verda National Park. It is near enough to town to provide easy access to stores and restaurants while still being just enough "off the beaten path" to be peacefully quiet and provide many opportunities to enjoy the passing deer. The common-area kitchen was clean and well equipped for all our cooking needs. My daughter loved the tire swing out front while my son played the piano in the spacious common-area living/dining room. The host communicated well and made check-in and check-out super easy. We definitely plan to stay here again in the near future! Luke10/06/2021 - Great ranch location outside of Cortez. We stayed in the wranglers roost room(s) which had two private and one semi-private bedrooms. Clean and comfortable space. Shared kitchen space, which worked for us, but no other guests really used it that week.

Jisha1/03/2021Such a fun unique stay! Great value, especially for families. Our private “suite” was very roomy— 2 private bedrooms plus another semi private space with a single bed, plus a large entry hall and living room! It felt like an entire 2 bedroom apartment. Breakfast was amazing and really contributes to the warm hospitality. We enjoyed our conversations with the hosts and learned a lot about the area. The views are beautiful. We played some ping pong and a board game. It was nice to see a true family business with the kids pitching in too. A great Airbnb experience. Highly recommended!

We booked pretty last minute in July 🥵 so the bedrooms were pretty hot upon arrival but the hosts were extremely accommodating and helped us utilize other spaces/fans while the rooms cooled down.
Very friendly, responsive and helpful hosts! 
Ben7/04/2023The place was absolutely perfect for our needs - a suite of rooms that easily slept mom & dad & 3 full grown kids comfortably - could have even fit 2 more in a pinch! Breakfast was amazing! The view from the front porch is beautiful. We were just sorry we couldn’t stay longer to enjoy the ping pong, corn hole & foosball!

Luc7/17/2020Great setting and plenty of space. A little off the beaten path, but still close enough if you are going to Mesa Verde. It is worth it to have spacious rooms and activity options for the kids to run around and enjoy. They loved the tire swing and the game room. Clean & comfy. 
Jana3/25/2022We really enjoyed our stay at this great location! We enjoyed watching deer from the front and back windows, being away from the city, access to the large private and shared spaces. Great location for a great price! 
Marlow10/22/2023We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is spacious and comfortable. We had 10 people in our group and we definitely could have fit a few more comfortably. There are even some futons and pull out couches if you need to cram in a few more beyond that.
The hosts were very helpful when needed. The view is amazing. The yard was fun for the kids to play in. They loved the tire swing! We loved that each suite had its own sitting area and TV. I wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely try to get back for another stay someday. 
Laurie4/18/2022The hosts are very kind and friendly, making you feel at home during the stay. The common area downstairs is a nice touch as it gives the opportunity to interact with other guests while you make coffee (should you so choose). The view is incredible with a patio to sit on while you look over the valley.

Samantha3/24/2020This place will not disappoint you! JanElle and her family are amazing wonderful kind souls! They went above and beyond to make sure we got the best experience durning our stay. JanElle was in constant contact with me weeks before our arrival we had a million questions and she was sure to answer and figure stuff out for us. We loved the extras we added to our stay. The murder mystery dinner was a blast and her family came and sat in the heat and kept score and set up a cornhole tournament. Cause ya know we are a bit competitive our family was able to get closer and connect and relax and enjoy the beautiful sunsets. The lake was just a 20 minute drive and there was plenty to do. We will definitely be having our next family reunion here again. Book this place for an amazing experience ❤️

Samantha8/30/2020Wir waren eine Nacht bei JanElle und haben es sehr genossen. Von dem Grundstück schaut man auf weite Felder und hat die Hügel im Hintergrund. Wir haben den Abend auf der Veranda verbracht und die Aussicht genossen. Für Selbstversorger gibt es ein Walmart ganz in der Nähe. In dem Haus gibt es eine gut ausgestattete Küche und Fernseher sowie einen Spielraum.
Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!
